Kristina Lao (any pronouns) is a film, television, theatre, and voice actor represented by Principals Talent.
Born in Hong Kong and of Chinese, Nepalese, British, and Polish descent, she was raised between Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, and London. The first Hong Kong graduate of the London School of Musical Theatre and an alumna of the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation, she works internationally across stage and screen. She is now based in Vancouver, on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.
Her recent television credits include Amazon’s Every Year After, NBC’s The Hunting Party, Fox’s Alert: Missing Persons Unit, and Paramount+’s Happy Face. Theatre credits include the UK tour of 20th Century Boy and productions of Oliver! and Sweeney Todd. Her voice work includes the global video game Lords Mobile, audiobook narration, and campaigns for Nike, Toyota, Claritin, British Airways, and Toni & Guy.
Kristina joined the Sonder Acting Studio team in 2025 after studying directly with the studio founder, Shane Savage, for five years. Since then, her clients have booked major roles across Lifetime, Paramount+, CBS, Hallmark, and Netflix.
Kristina is currently recurring in a Paramount+ series to be announced in 2026.
